| Description: | RESPONSIBLE TO: Board of Directors GOAL OF POSITION: To assist Community Shares Board and staff in the governance of the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Serve as a fiduciary and contribute to the governance of the organization. 2. Attend Board/Committee meetings focused on advancing Community Shares’ mission. 3. Advance public support for the organization. 4. Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information related to Community Shares and its member organizations. TIME COMMITMENT: 1. Monthly Board meetings and Annual meetings. 2. Flexible weekday schedule and some weekends. |

| Qualifications & Skills: | 1. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. 2. Training and/or experience in technology, finance, fund-raising, marketing and/or public relations. 3. Willingness to advance support for Community Shares. |
